MAMH Testimony in Support of H.2264/S.1407, An Act to Create Equitable Approaches to Public Health

Written testimony to Chair Marjorie Decker, Chair Julian Cyr, and members of the Joint Committee on Public Health in support of H.2264/S.1407, An Act to create equitable approaches to public health. This legislation would create a competitive grant program, available to local government entities or non-profit community-based organizations, to support alternatives to community emergency services, increasing the availability of non-law enforcement, unarmed, community-based options to respond to 911 calls.
