MAMH Testimony in support of H.2985, An Act transferring Bridgewater State Hospital from the Department of Corrections to the Department of Mental Health

MAMH provides written testimony in support of H.2985 (Rep. Ruth Balser), An Act transferring Bridgewater State Hospital from the Department of Corrections to the Department of Mental Health. This bill would ensure that individuals who are confined pursuant to a criminal matter and who need hospital-level mental health care are the responsibility of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health.
