MAMH Testimony in Support of S.760, An Act Relative to Applied Behavioral Health Clinic Rates

Written testimony to Chair John Lawn, Chair Cindy Friedman, and members of the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing in support of S.760, An Act relative to applied behavioral health clinic rates. This legislation would require Mass Health to: (1) increase rates paid for certain behavioral health outpatient services by 5%; and (2) ensure that rates paid to mental health clinics licensed by DPH remain not less than 20% above rates paid for comparable services covered by an "independent practitioner," defined as a licensed independent clinical social worker.
