Youth Violence in Massachusetts 2009-2017
The Massachusetts Youth Risk Behavior Survey (MYRBS) is a school based survey initiative funded by the CDC that monitors health-risk behaviors among youth grades 9 through 12. The Massachusetts Youth Health Survey (MYHS) is the Massachusetts Department of Public Health's (MDPH) surveillance project to assess the health of youth and young adults in grades 6-12. MYRBS and MYHS are conducted concurrently on a biennially basis and include a representative sample of Massachusetts students in grades 9 – 12 and 6-12, respectively.
